Comfeel Barrier Cream:
The Comfeel Barrier Cream is the ideal treatment for dry and irritated skin, caused by aggressive secretions from stomas or incontinence.
The cream is highly liquid repellant and contains a pH buffer that restores the correct pH value of the skin, preventing damage to the skin.
Dry or irritated skin is soothed by the contents of glycerol and silicone oil.
OAD - Appliance Deodrant
Coloplast’s range of ostomy bags offers some of the best protection yet
against odours. But, understandably, many ostomates want even greater peace of mind – which is why Coloplast have developed the complementary odour eliminor.
It functions by actively neutralising any odour and is highly effective. Unlike some products, it does not attempt to mask one fragrance with another.
Appliance Deodorant has been designed for absolute safety and maximum simplicity in use:
· Dose 6 to 10 drops into appliance at time of changing or emptying.
· Rub sides of appliance together to evenly disperse
· For cleansing drainable appliances add 10 drops to a cup of water. Use this solution to rinse and eliminate odours from the appliance.
· Do not apply directly on to the stoma.
Cleanser Solution and Cleanser Wipes:
Cleanses gently but effectively without drying the skin.
Smoothes the skin.
The cleanser is a gentle but effective replacement to soap and water, dissolving agents and other aggressive or drying agents used by ostomists or incontinent people to cleanse the skin.
Based on natural coconut oil, the Cleanser cleanses and smoothes the skin effectively. Adhesive residues are also removed with the cleanser due to the content of isopropylalcohol (IPA). The ingredient allantoin promotes the healing of damaged skin.
Belt and belt plate:
Some ostomists (e.g. physically active persons) may want to support their
ostomy bag by means of a belt and a belt plate.
The combination of belt and belt plate gives the ostomist extra security and longer wearlife of the ostomy appliance.
The system is very simple to use:
1. Attach the belt plate to the ostomy bag
2. Apply the ostomy bag
3. Attach the belt to the belt plate
The belt is made of 90% cotton and 10% rayon.

Application on one-piece products
Attach the belt plate from below, towards the adhesive.
Please be aware that the belt plates can only be used for one-piece products with a flange.
Belt plates are moulded in a flexible and unbreakable plastic.

Application on the two-piece product
Attach the belt plate to the coupling part of the bag before applying the bag.
Protective Rings:
Rings with Curagard adhesive
· For added protection around the stoma
· Soft, thin and flexible protective rings
· Leaves no residues on the skin
· Absorbs excess moisture
Coloplast rings made of Curagard adhesive provide added protection for the skin around ileostomies and colostomies when needed.
The rings are available in 7 different hole sizes. They are soft, elastic and long-lasting
Protective Sheets:
The Protective Sheet is specially designed for use on skin surfaces where there is a risk of skin damage due to body secretions, or where skin damage has already developed.
Moisture absorbent
The Protective Sheet consists of moisture absorbing particles in an elastic, self-adhesive substance.
Soft and flexible
A stretchable film gives the sheet its high degree of flexibility and elasticity, making it soft, pliable and conformable.
No residue
It has a high cohesion, preventing the sheet from dissolving and leaving no residue on the skin.
Dispenser
In addition to the three sizes available, Protective Sheet also comes in a practical
dispenser with 2 m x 10 cm. It can easily be pulled out and cut to the desired length, minimizing waste and costs.
Comfeel Protective Film:
The Comfeel Protective Film is a highly effective and comfortable skin protection designed for every-day use for ostomates and incontinent people.
The protective film comes dissolved in liquid. After application, the liquid quickly evaporates leaving a thin, semi-permeable elastic and waterproof protective film on the skin.
The protective film prevents aggressive secretion such as faeces and urine from reaching the skin surface causing irritation or maceration.
A "second skin" is formed by the protective film taking up adhesive tear from appliances, and thus preventing stripping of the skin. The film is waterproof and ensures protection even during bathing.
Coloplast Strip Paste:
If you need to use a paste product, Coloplast has introduced one which can offer a number of advantages.
Packaged as ten individual 6g strips, there is no wastage at all. The strips are much handier to carry around, so you can keep one with you at all times in case of emergencies. You can also cut off the right amount for you.
The strips themselves are completely flexible and can be moulded into contours around the stoma, which gives you increased adherence and added security where needed. And because the paste is alcohol-free, it won't sting on application |
