How do I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment by calling 01733 392351 and someone can check immediate availability and book your appointment there and then. Alternatively, you can book your appointment via email and someone will contact you to arrange an appointment.
How long will I have to wait for an appointment?
When you contact us, you will be offered the first available appointment. Please note that these clinics are only available on Thursdays.
What if I feel I can’t wait for a clinic appointment?
You can request a call from one of our Coloplast Care Specialists. Please contact us if you would like a call.
How long will my appointment last
First appointments are likely to be around an hour and follow-up appointments will be shorter.
Who will my appointment be with?
The clinic is run by an experienced Stoma Nurse Specialist who has access to all the latest products available.
What will happen at my appointment?
The nurse will examine your stoma and make her assessment. She will talk to you about any issues you are experiencing and offer tailored advice and recommendations. She will answer any questions you may have and together you will make a plan of action.
What happens next?
The nurse will endeavour to talk to you within 48-72 hours following your appointment to make sure everything is working and you are confident moving forward.
Where is the Peterborough Clinic?
The Clinic is situated at Coloplast offices in Nene Hall at the Peterborough Business Park near Alwalton. You can download the PDF map and directions here.
Is there a charge?
There is no charge for UK-based NHS patients.
Do I need a referral from my GP or the hospital?
No. You can self refer and book your own appointment directly with the clinic.
