About the role


We are looking for passionate individuals that have a strong background in customer service and progression is available to various areas of the business including Consumer Excellence, Sales or Marketing. 

The purpose of the Customer Care Specialist is to respond effectively to all customer care enquiries by taking orders, offering product advice, samples and solutions where appropriate.



  • Providing high quality customer service to existing and new customers over the telephone.
  • Taking orders, offering product and/or service advice.
  • Effectively handling customer /order queries.
  • Order entry; Prescriptions: Commercial orders; mail orders; samples.
  • Prescription handling and management of prescription processes.
  • At all times assessing the customer care processes to ensure that they are adding value to the customer and the business.
  • Positively influence colleagues and be enthusiastic to daily goals and targets.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Be conscious that you are a representative of the Customer Care Department.
  • At all times assessing the customer care processes to ensure that they are adding value to the customer and the business.
  • Customer retention by being polite, courteous and effective customer handling.
  • Carry out other duties as instructed by your line manager.
  • Treat all information with sensitivity and ensure that confidential data about the customer is not disclosed to third parties as per Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Expected traveling days: N/A

Key competencies

Professional Competences

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Customer service experience, gained within a contact centre environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Personal Competences

  • Professional approach with both internal and external customers
  • Flexible and committed attitude
  • Positive, caring "can do" attitude.
  • Self-motivated

Annual Leave
