Understanding your bladder

Bladder issues are typically either incontinence (leaking urine) or retention (difficulty in emptying the bladder). Our introduction to bladder problems can help you understand both the symptoms and causes.
Knowing how your bladder and urinary systems works lets you can spot any changes and seek help if necessary. Learn about your urinary system.

Managing your bladder

If you’re having bladder issues, it’s important to speak to your healthcare professional to find a suitable solution. They may recommend you use a catheter - a slim, flexible tube that drains urine from the bladder through the urethra.

Pete uses a Luja catheter, part of the Coloplast range. Our catheters are designed to meet different clinical and lifestyle needs. Whether you use a Luja or SpeediCath product, they all have our unique Triple Action Coating Technology which ensures an even coating and well hydrated catheter to protect your urethra.
