Free stoma clinic in Peterborough

Coloplast is running a stoma care clinic in Peterborough which means all NHS UK patients can attend the service free of charge.

The stoma care clinics are offered as a free service by the Coloplast Care Stoma Nursing team, working in collaboration with NHS and private sector nurses to ensure that all patients living with a stoma get access to the best ongoing stoma care advice and support.

The Coloplast Care stoma nurses will undertake an assessment and review all individuals referred to the service and implement an appropriate package of care, to ensure that they are competent and confident in managing their stoma.

All patients will be offered access to a patient support programme called Coloplast Care, to ensure that they have access to quality support and advice both online and via telephone with the Coloplast Care Specialists.

The Coloplast Care Stoma Nursing Service is registered with the Care Quality Commission, and the team work to a set of Clinical Practice Standards accredited by the Royal College of Nursing.

For 60 years, Coloplast has been improving the lives of people with intimate healthcare needs - but we were never alone on the journey.

Healthcare professionals all over the world share our ambition of better care.

People with intimate healthcare needs are sharing their opinions and dreams.

Local partners are fighting side-by-side for better access to healthcare.

And across all fields of expertise, we are sharing knowledge to reach better outcomes.

So this year, on the occasion of our 60th anniversary, we want to celebrate the power of collaboration across the globe. Why? Because, as we set out to reach new heights in the coming 60 years, we know everything will be even better, when we all go forward together.
