      How do I know whether I need a convex ostomy bag?

      Every body is different and sometimes additional support is needed to help the stoma protrude. If you aren't already using a convex product, your stoma nurse will be able to assess you in clinic and advise whether you require convexity, as well as recommending the depth of convexity most appropriate.
