What are the symptoms that Peristeen Light can help with? 
- Urgent need to have a      bowel movement
- Accidental bowel      leakage
- Not feeling fully empty      after a bowel movement 
- Straining or difficulty      to open bowels
- Bloating
 
What other methods could I try first? 
- Changes in diet, fibre      or fluid intake and exercise
- Taking laxatives
- Using      suppositories 
- Taking anti-diarrhoea      medication
- Wearing incontinence      pads or underwear
- Using fingers to      stimulate and/or empty the bowel
- Anal plugs
 
When shouldn’t Peristeen Light be used? 
If you experience any of the below symptoms, Peristeen Light may not be suitable for you and you should contact your Healthcare Professional immediately:
- Bleeding from your      bottom
- Blood in your poo
- A recent change in your      pooing habits
- Recently losing weight      but you’re not sure why
- Feeling very tired all      the time but you’re not sure why
- A pain or lump in your      abdomen
 
Peristeen Light isn’t suitable for people with a known inflammatory bowel disease.
